Mature Student YP railcard

Quick question. Eldest son is 27 and is finishing a Masters degree. Is it ok for him to renew his Mature Student railcard early while he is still a student, even though he won't be a student in a few weeks?

If the educational establishment complete their part of the application form and provide valid student ID, them yes, it is fine.

I did similar - I'm 28 and have just finished a degree course; I renewed my railcard about a month before I finished - I was taking it the same as the fact that you can renew the day before your 26th birthday and still use it for the whole year.
