Can't help but think of what Michael MacIntyre's take on that would be (I'm a Yorkshireman and saying it sounds quite funny!)

Hate it. But love the ale that is brewed in the same town A couple who live in Burton upon Trent told me that depending on which way the wind is blowing that day, they can either smell the Marmite or the hops from the brewery.

My thesis is simple but effective, they are both items which you either enjoy or simply hate ignoring the simple connection between the two that one is made from yeast extract which is a by-product of beer brewing which just so happens to be the main product of the other one.

Personally, I rather like Marmite. Spreaded on toast with some Lurpak makes the best breakfast in my book! I've never been keen on cereal.
