When DRS run class 37s on a rake of air con mark2s, I understand they need to run it with a mark 2 generator vehicle?

Is there just one of these or more?
Is it/are they BSOs?
Are they air con or with opening windows?
Are they seats and tables or compartments?
On railtours are the seats sold to passengers?

Any info or websites that can help?

No, they just have to ensure they have a 37/4 on the train. The only Mk.2 generator car operating on the main line is a Riviera Trains coach (17105).

There was at least another Mk2 BFK Gen Van in existence in this country until some point this year - an ex NIR one which had found storage within the masses of stored Mk2s in Yorkshire, until its last and final trip to Booths. Surprised West Coast didn't snap that one up!

I think they were rather well past it, after several years out in the open at Sinderby and then Dalton. A shame they ended up being scrapped after being brought all the way back from Ireland. A few years ago, a preservation group was interested in using one of them but when I contacted the owner, he didn't seem particularly keen or interested.

Are there any vehicles left at Dalton, or has it been completely cleared?
