It didn't affect me directly, but it was evident at Shrewsbury that all was not well with northbound Marches services today.
A Portbury-Fidlers Ferry Freightliner service sat down at Abergavenny for 135 minutes and delayed a succession of ATW services by a similar amount.
They were mostly being held at Newport.
The Waterloo-Shrewsbury steam excursion was lucky only to lose 60 minutes, being held at Llanwern.
Was it a Class 70 failure I wonder?
Having eventually got going, it now seems to be parked at Pontrilas.
