Cardiff, or maybe one of the west Wales stations, Carmarthen or Haverfordwest perhaps - some interesting direct journeys possible from those...

Aside: do any trains run from Carmarthen via the HOWL these days? Certainly one a day did in the 90s

Thanks all!

Carnforth is proving quite a challenge just because of the sheer length of the Cumbrian Coast Line, so while that's going on in the background I'm going to do Nuneaton, which I already have most of covered in other ones.

Inverness sounds fun. Cardiff is impossible at this stage but I'll consider something smaller on the South Wales coast.

I've also started doing some metro maps - initially the Midland Metro with and without planned extensions - these will have their own folder but for now I'm putting them in the main maps page - http://mkttransport.co.uk/maps/

In the interests of keeping this thread on topic I can start one in the other transport section if people want to discuss metro maps. Equally if you have ideas about how I should lay out the maps pages or the website generally, feel free to PM me with those :)

Bull Street for Snow Hill. There's a reason Snow Hill got renamed St Chad's. ;)

Impressive work, keep it up. I'll leave you to wade through other suggestions without adding any of my own!

These maps are very good.

For Ely you need to add the intermediate stations between Grantham & Nottingham (except Elton & Orston) - the 1047 ex Norwich & 1452 ex Liverpool on Sundays both call as do a few on weekdays at random stops.

Dronfield is served by the 1452 & 1552 ex Liverpool Mon-Sat.

Ilkeston is served from Ely with effect from today!!

Dore & Totley is linked by the 0652 & 1552 ex Liverpool. 1552 ex Liverpool also calls at Chinley.

The 0610 Nottingham to Norwich also serves East Midlands Parkway.

Sorry!

Love the idea, so I thought I'd do one of my local station.

Might need to use "Ctrl" & "+" when viewing this one :)

Oohh very interesting!

For clarity, on my maps 'to and from' does mean 'either to or from'. That's why a one-way arrow is there for lines, although I've not being doing the arrow for stations as it's just too much to research!

I'm just completing the Nuneaton map and some corrections to the MK and Northampton maps - can anyone confirm for me if there are any LM Crewe services from these stations that run directly from Rugeley to Stoke, avoiding Stafford? Thanks!
