Manx Electric Railway strike timetable

Not seen this anywhere else, so forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere. Apparently, the Manx Electric Railway is running a strike timetable this week due to industrial action on the buses. Trams are timed mainly to get kids to and from school with a before-9am arrival into Derby Castle. Return departure is at 15.40.
Must be quite a while since there were any commuter-time arrivals on the MER, or operations during the winter months.

Interesting times, and no less than 4 trams required to operate it. The service seems to be aimed mostly at Ramsey school pupils; I'm not sure I'd be that keen to commute from Ramsey to Douglas, even in a winter saloon, only to be deposited at very much the wrong end of the promenade.

The website says that they're accepting bus tickets and also includes copious instructions about how to hail and board a tram - clearly aimed at people who have never used the service!

They are not using toast racks in winter.

Only as far as Villa Marina, you can walk after that. And only April - November with a limited service at the shoulder times. My point being whilst it's doubtless of interest to the enthusiast, it's nowhere near a feasable commute for anyone else and certainly won't attract drivers out of their BMWs.

The horse trams don't operate in the winter - unless they've persuaded Dobbin & Co to come back from their annual holiday and operate a strike day service on the horse trams too?

The wording on the website suggests it's aimed at schoolkids, not 9-5 commuters. Not many schoolkids drive BMWs, not even on the wealthy Isle of Man.
