Does anyone know if they are still storing trains in Manors station overnight and when the new trains come into service will it still be used to hold trains. Same with St James.

Only St James was being used for overnight stabling. Was one train in each platform and one in each overrun tunnel, total of four trains (8 Metrocars).
One of the sets to stable at St James would run empty from South Gosforth with a reversal at Manors having come round the empty stock line but nothing was booked to stable there.
Stabling at St James has ended for now, it was only used as a measure to keep trains warm during the winter months. It might resume again this winter, I’m not sure what the plan is.

Most if not all underground stations on Metro are able to stable trains overnight if required but, apart from possibly during engineering works, St James has been the only one where this was actually booked to happen.
