I wonder if someone could clear something up for me about the timetable feed available from ATOC's site.
If I look at a Newton-Glasgow train on a Sunday (such as the 12:09), it shows it passing through three juctions between Pollokshields West (PLKLHDW) and Glasgow Central (GLGC): Muirhouse Central Jn (MRHSCJ); Muirhouse North Jn (MRHSNJ) and Glasgow Bridge Street Jn (GLGCBSJ), using line 4B at the last one (although I don't know where 4B is).
If I look at the 12:20 on the Saturday before, it follows the same route except that it uses line 4C at Bridge Street Jn, and Muirhouse North Jn isn't listed.
The Operational Rules list Muirhouse North Jn on SC051 and SC031, and show it as a mandatory timing point each time, with no notes to suggest any qualifications for this.
There appears to only be one route a train can use through the junction in that direction, and I can't see another way a train could go from Muirhouse Central Jn to Bridge Street Jn in 3 minutes.
Could anyone tell me why Muirhouse North Jn is sometimes omitted by the timetable for this service? And if there is a way to tell whether or not a train is scheduled to pass a timing point like this one which isn't indicated in the schedule?
