:?: Any suggestions for splitting tickets to save on the £35.00 off peak return standard fare from Manchester to Lincoln? Travelling Saturday or Sunday. Back same day.

Splitting at Gainsborough maybe?

Advance singles from Manchester-Sheffield start at £5 each way. Then day return Sheffield-Lincoln route Retford for £15.

If you are not in a hurry and just looking for the absolute cheapest fare then Manchester - Barnetby AP then Barnetby - Lincoln (Not much use at the moment with the blockade) or Manchester - Nottingham & Nottingham - Lincoln can work out cheaper than the Sheffield split. If you want the best of both worlds split at Sheffield.
