Hi all,
Was just wondering what the cheapest way would be from Manchester to Hayle/St Erth (either will do me fine) on Sunday 8th March and return on Friday 13th March.

I don't mind travelling at any time, and I also have a 16-25 railcard.

Many thanks in advance!

I'd imagine judicious splitting along the Cross-Country stops, something like this perhaps:

Macclesfield
Stafford
Wolverhampton
Birmingham
Cheltenham Spa
Bristol Temple Meads
Taunton
Exeter
Newton Abbott
Plymouth
Bodmin Parkway
Truro

I may be going overkill so wait for those who are more with it on XC split strategies.

Thanks Gathursty.

Found this as the cheapest. All off-peak returns apart from two singles on the WVH-BHM leg.

MAN-WVH £20.95
WVH-BHM £6.40
BHM-CNM £16.25
CNM-BRI £11.75
BRI-TAU £13.40
TAU-EXD £ 10.90
EXD-PLY £ 11.90
PLY-HYL £12.60

Total £104.15

It's the "via Hereford" fare. On the 13th it would be available from Hayle on the 0755 changing at Taunton and Newport, and arriving at Manchester at 1715
