Out Thur 5th Feb 2015
10:15 Frome
11:28 Bristol T/M

12:00 Bristol T/M
14:57 Man Pic

Rtn Sat 28th Feb 2015
14:07 Man Pic
16:53 Bristol P/Way

17:20 Bristol P/Way
18:49 Frome

Best price I have found are,
£25.70 Std Advance for the Bristol Manchester legs each way
&
£18.50 Std Off-Peak Rtn Bristol to Frome

Is their a better option?

On the Off-peak ticket I need to travel to/from both Bristol T/M and Parkway is this allowed?

I'm trying to plan this for a 60 year old women with a large suitcase who only travels train once in a blue moon, on the return I have chosen to change at Parkway in the hope the train won't be too crowded and it's the same platform change.

Tickets wise of the top of my head, can't look at the moment as on the mobile,

But try buying a Off Peak return Frome - Cheltenham Spa and splitting advance tickets on the same train, Cheltenham - Birmingham, Birmingham - Manchester and the same for the return, may save about £10 or £15.
