Manchester to Edinburgh/Glasgow

Hello

I’m looking for some advice.

I’m travelling from Manchester to Edinburgh this Friday (TPE), then onto Glasgow later that evening (Scotrail) and finally back to Manchester on Monday (TPE).

All journeys will be on off peak trains.

Would an off peak return from Manchester to Edinburgh cover all three trains - using the outbound as normal, and then using the return part from Edinburgh to Glasgow (Queen Street) on Friday and then from Glasgow (Central) on Monday?

The "via Carlisle" off-peak return will be valid (https://www.brfares.com/!faredetail...pert=on&flow=4&multi=0&fare=7&rte=275&tkt=SVR). Not the cheaper "Avanti & Northern" one, nor the "TPE only" one (which doesn't have an off-peak return anyway).

Your ticket is also valid on Avanti services Preston-Glasgow/Edinburgh, and connecting services Manchester-Preston just in case you want to use any of these.
