Manchester to Diss

This is for Saturday July 20th.

I need to get to latitude festival that weekend, and it looks like I have to write off the Friday as I don't finish work until Friday afternoon.

So I need to leave Manchester as early as possible on 20th July. It's a single journey, with no railcards.

I'm aware that tickets aren't actually on sale for this date yet, but if anyone can give me an idea of how to get there cheap and (relatively) easily I'd be more than grateful.

If you get in fast, Manchester - Nottingham then Nottingham - Diss could be very cheap depending on how flexible you are although you won't arrive that early.
