I would like to dowload the route of Metrolink, (for Manchester) and I found this web site http://www.metrolink-virtual.co.uk/ but I don't now where I can download the route ..? This project is under construction ? I don't think, because there are a peoples who have a video about this route : http://youtube.com/watch?v=x11_NJ3hEVw

If you register you can download it for free, however it will take a long time. The better option in my opinion is to pay £4.50 for the CD which includes a months premium access so you can download other items as well

GET THE CD- IT's BRILLIANT!

I bought the Blackpool tram route from UKTS earlier this year, and was very annoyed and dissapointed at it. (Although i've never actually been on it before)

I've been on the Metrolink several times before, and found the route to be fantastic! Only slight problem for me, is the very tight corners, which seem to appear when your approaching a red..
(But they make it very realistic!)

heu, I am terribly sorry, but I have a lot of results (after my search), and I don't now which to choose :? ( I now, I am beginning ^^)

If you want to download it from UKTS,

Simply use the search function, and just fill in the file id 17461, without the need to fill in anything else like the title etc, as the id will show you just the one you need.

Do the same , after you've got onto the route download page, and download the "ADDITIONAL FILES NEEDED" section. (Unless you already have them)

Once you've made sure you've get everything you need (also make sure you've got the default MSTS routes still installed) etc, you should be up and running very soon!

You should also download the readme file, which will tell you what to do.

If this is all very complicated, you could always do what I did- Order the CD for just £4.50, enjoy the 1 months free premium access, and download lots of other things as well for MSTS if you wanted to.

Don't apologise for asking questions- That's what we're here for!

thank you very much for you anwser ! I think that I am going to pay for the CD (the time to receive is long ?)) But is not easy for my because I must to use the credit card of my parents ^^. (What do you think when you speak of ADDITIONAL FILES NEEDED ?)

Your Very Welcome

CD will probably take a few working days, so it may not be dispatched until Monday, so it should definately be on your computer by Wednesday/Thursday. (At the latest)

It only really takes a day or two after they've dispatched it, and you'll get an additional email from them as soon as it's dispatched and on its way.

Edit: NOTHING should be needed for your CD, as it's a pre-loaded, all-inclusive job. Just follow the instructions when you get it, it should automatically run the installation programme, and it'll remind you to make sure you have the default routes allready installed.

no just sign up to be a member which is free, then buy the comunity cd which is £4.50 plus you get the crich tramway route for free on the disc as a bonus, plus you get one month's free premium membership from the day of purchase which is excellent.

Valy - You will get an email telling you when the Cd has been despatched - UKTS ship on Tuesday and Friday so if you have paid by any other means apart from a card you will have to wait for it to clear unfortunately

Keep watching UKTS and try logging in to see if your months membership has been activated. If not then payment hasn't cleared yet.

it's ok ! I received the cd Monday!

The road is wonderful, but I have a problem: after opening and then closed the doors of the tram at the station ( with "P"), I can not start the tram ! I have tried all the solutions...and I don't now how to do...
