Manchester Airport line - Platform extensions

Liverpool-Wigan North Western/Blackpool North services are booked for 319s since the new timetable.

There’s 1 unit which is a 331 also that leaves Liverpool at 1708 to Blackpool North. It will be interesting to see if these will be eventually changed to 6 car 323s to replace 319s

That's a booked six car diagram to move 331s around the North West network.

Another update having travelled on the line recently:

- Gatley - Out of the three stations, Gatley is still the one that has made / is making the most amount of progress. The extended platform framework/base structures for both sides are now more-or-less in place on both the Airport and Piccadilly directions, with lots of work still to be done.
- East Didsbury - No platform framework/base structures yet compared to Gatley, but it's making good progress compared to the last time seeing it.
- Mauldeth Road - still the least amount of work done compared to the other two, I imagine more progress will be made when either Gatley/East Didsbury are nearer to completion.
