I'm looking to treat the kids to a day out at the seaside one day next week. I live in northwich so we are fairly handy for a fair few places. However, my 3 year old has chosen Blackpool declaring it "his" beach when he saw it on the tv just now.
After a nightmare journey on Saturday for the air show, needless to say I'm a little apprehensive about this, however the other option is rhyl and my son still hasn't forgot about being pecked by a seagull there (and we are there for the airshow next weekend).
I'm just wondering whether or not the 10:46 from Piccadilly to Blackpool on a Tuesday in August is likely to be busy? It will literally be myself, my 5 year old, my 3 year old and my 10 month old baby travelling. We travel a fair bit by train but mainly short journeys so it's fair to say I'm a little nervous although the boys are always well behaved.
