Malvern incident

Heard on BBC Hereford and Worcester that there was a object placed on line in Malvern,just wondered if any information about what happened

Apparently a length of rail was placed across the track and damaged an Oxford bound train



Had a steel rod or similar object (according to the driver) placed on the track near Ledbury last summer. The LM 150 I was on performed an emergency stop after striking it - the bar made a hell of a sound as it was getting mangled underneath the train. The driver and guard checked down the whole length of the train after a cautious roll into Ledbury just to confirm the burning smell was from the brakes. Concerning to hear this has happened again!

A 20ft length of rail no less - SOCO attended , so lets hope these nutters get picked up from fingerprint or other material. A criminal offence.

Needs either mechanical lifting equipment or a gang of 8 men to move that
