I will start with a question. Is it worth getting First Class on TPE from Malton to York on TPE as it is only 25p extra for a child fare?

Thanks.

25p? Definately! Don't expect anything but it's a nicer seat!

Yes, I agree 25p is worth it for the wider seat (and possibility of individual seat).

Brilliant, thanks! The trains off Malton are always rammed in standard class so it would be worth it for a seat if nothing else. Good to hear that they are wider to!

Always worth first class from Malton. Usually not possible to get a standard class seat on morning trains any time of year. And in the summer most trains are best avoided!

I could have had a seat when I went through Malton on the 5th July.
Then again it was on the Tour de France TPE 47s!:D
I say I could have had a seat but I opted for a window instead! And laughing at normals who couldn't open the doors!:D
