How might I go about getting a station (Salwick) added as a request stop? It has two trains early in the morning and two late afternoon going each way. It also has trains going through every 10-15 mins (Northern). How might I go about it being added to the list of request stop stations so I can use it rather than having to drive to the nearest mandatory stop stations (Kirkham or Preston). The platforms etc recently had a complete refurbishment and I was hopeful it was.a precursor to more trains stopping but no such luck.

Unless there is something already in the pipeline, I would suggest with great difficulty. Getting your local councillors or local MP interested is probably a good start. I see there is a lot of employment just east of the station, so getting the major employers interested in the campaign and demonstrating there would be sufficient demand for additional services could help too.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll contact the site as they are expanding and it should be part of their carbon reduction strategy to have less driving and more PT options for employees and vistors.
