Saw a failed class 92 on the Dollands Moor water train being dragged by a 66 the other day. Now obviously, both locomotives are owned by DBS. Who maintains them??
The Dyson is an ex BR loco, whereas the 66, as everyone knows, is an American piece of junk built by GM, so are they maintained by the same people?
In some cases, it's pretty obvious - for example, LM's 321's and 350's being Siemens. But who would look after their other traction, such as 323's, 170's, 172's??
Sorry if it's the sort of question a simpleton would ask, but knowing that the failed Dyson caused a lot of delay minutes that DBS will be liable for, it set me thinking about it.
