Hi all

I have just been made aware that two strike fail is for mainline driving and you have more opportunities at being an operator for TFL for example.

Question: Do they advertise jobs for operators externally? I have never heard of or seen this, and if so, what it the ACTUAL job title to search for. At the moment I am searching for trainee train driving roles which is obviously mainline driving. Please let me know as I am desperate to be a driver / operator! Thank you in advance guys

They occasionally recruit externally for part-time night tube operators. All full-time operator roles are advertised and filled internally

They are unlikely to advertise for part time or full time soon.

It's gonna be a lonngggggg while before London Underground advertise for external drivers any time soon. You would need to join TfL in another role and wait for an internal position to come up, which again, is gonna be a few years now as they've just had a campaign going.
