Nothing's showing on Traveline. First item of public transport to move northwards out of Macclesfield on a Sunday morning appears to be the 9am bus No.130.

Since you haven't specified mode of travel then the answer is obviously pre-booked taxi. And if that's disappointing it's also the answer for the same question applied to just about everywhere else. Public transport pre-0800 on a Sunday other than London Underground is almost non-existent. [awaits the pedants quoting any other exceptions]

How long do you personally think that it takes to walk from Macclesfield to Wilmslow?...:roll:

I live equidistant from both those two stations and even the half-length journey to either of those two stations is most onerous even for the fittest of travellers.

Only if you leave before midnight and get the last Macclesfield to Manchester train then an early Piccadilly to Airport service.

Otherwise the only option involves a lift or taxi.

That should be the most reasonable option... I eventually booked a train ticket to BHI and depart from BHX in the evening... Pre-booked taxi to MAN and train to BHI seems to be the same amount of money.
