MCs are over priced, and have 1000000s of compatibility issues...

Aye, I'm all too well of that in my case...But then again, I've yet to meet an M.C. who liked Death Metal!

Back onto the subject of computers: I was hoping to have been able to get myself a cheap pocket web browser recently, but that idea went up the spout because I don't have 24/7 access to the Internet. Given that I registered my interest clearly enough though, I still feel I should've been allowed to make an offer and have it considered...

they only have compatibility issues because so many people use windows, you could say the same for any non windows based OS - lots of companies don't see a market with mac users being a smaller percentage. Alot of people are starting to change their perceptions of apple and so that will change eventually. Don't forget windows was originally a rip off of mac os

I HATE Apple, and Microsoft, give me Linux any day, But I am stuck with windows because I am on a wired network and linux can screw with wireless networks. and it is against the mac TOS to install it onto a pc

I have no problems at all using wireless with Ubuntu. I don't think it's correct at all to say Linux can screw with wireless networks (although I'm not sure what that actually means).

Anyway the question is flawed, it's like asking ''what do you prefer, Class 321s or AC EMUs" arguably a Mac is a type of personal computer! And the term "PC" can mean anything from a non-standard Dell device running Windows where replacing a PSU costs 60 quid to get some weird exact compatible model, to a collection of standard parts that you put together yourself running Linux. The two are a world apart yet count as the same thing, this doesn't really make sense.

My dad has Ubuntu...it all works perfect, but he cnt get the drivers to work for the onboard ati graphics...
