Lumo rover acceptance

Anyone know what Lumo's stance is on rover tickets? Particularly the North Country 4 in 8 rover and Tyne Tees Day Ranger between Newcastle & Morpeth?

Their website doesn't mention rover tickets but says there is an unreserved coach for NCL-MPT passengers. The National Rail web pages for the relevant rover tickets do not exlude Lumo so technically they are valid, but I wanted to know if we'd be likely to face grief if trying to use one on one of their services?

Lumo accept inter-available tickets, and that includes Rovers. Any grief should be tempered by the fact that a single ticket between those stations only costs £3.

No that's what I thought, though I'm aware Grand Central and Hull Trains can be funny about rovers.

Use caution, because Lumo is not listed as a participating TOC for either of these rovers.

They are listed as accepting the All Line Rover so it may be that they have opted out of accepting the tickets listed in the OP.

I've been told by their staff that they do, indeed I've actually used an East Yorkshire Round Robin on Hull Trains, and a West Yorkshire Train and Bus day on Grand Central. But perhaps it's product specific...

Both Grand Central and Hull Trains accept the all line rover. (Tested + on the list)
Hull Trains accept the 3 in 7 and 7 days East Midlands Rover. (Tested + on the list)
Grand central have accepted a South Pennines day ranger before between Doncaster Wakefield and Bradford but that may have just been a helpful guard. (Tested but not on the list)

Lucky they accepted it considering Doncaster is outside the South Pennies Day Ranger area [it would have covered Wakefield to Bradford].

As for using a Tyne & Tees Day Ranger, even if you come across an ambassador (guard) who takes offence to someone using one on the short trip, the worst will be a £3 "Lumo Only" single [depending if Lumo have a "buy on board" policy like GC used to have]
