Got the email yesterday from, did the links for the uniform work for anyone?
Not yesterday, but they are now. Not sure what uniform to order. I’m female and can request skirts and dresses but I’m not entirely sure that will be practical! Anyone any ideas if there will be much climbing involved? I’ve seen some of the female drivers wear dresses/skirts.

I'd hope anyone can order any uniform they like!

Have been a driver for some years and day to day in a job like this I doubt you will be climbing up and down into the train from ground level very often.

At my last TOC it was once a day maximum either in or out, at my current TOC I can only think of 3 diagrams off the top of my head that involve climbing up/down to track level.

You must be able to get in or out using the steps at any time though - generally there is nobody watching you though, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable then I'd go for trousers.

Did everyone get the email from First about the travel bookings and the email from Train'd Up to set up an account? The hotel has a small gym which is great but no Corby trouser press sadly.

Not that anyone here would do such a thing on this thread because everyone knows that that would be off-topic ( ;) ) but just a reminder that to discuss the 222s themselves there's a dedicated thread here:

Quick question "if you've already passed a Psychometric with a UK tram company" Get through to the Interview stage but fail the Interview.

Is it up to me to get proof from the Tram company to show as proof to another train operating company to submit as part of a new application.

Is this how getting proof that you have already passed Psychometric tests work.

Any advice gratefully received.

It won't count for mainline trains I dont think, you'll have to go through the process from the start.

Many thanks. I wasn't sure if a TRAM Psychometric test PASS is acceptable when it comes to applying for a main line train drivers job's application or not, So I just thought I would enquire, in-case anybody had had experience of this happening or not in a subsequent application.

Hello all,

Wondered if anyone was in the position of applying for the Newcastle - Qualified Customer Driver role and if they have heard anything further.

Vacancy closed early on the 11th Feb - Asking on behalf of someone who’s not on here who may of heard anything back so far.

Cheers in advance
