#1 Tesco Delivery!

DRS 88006 'Juno' Snakes its way out of Crewe heading through Platform 5 taking a Tesco
intermodal under the headcode 4H43 from Daventry to Trafford Park. 88006 was built in 2016
and was unloaded in Workington Docks in late March 2017.

#2 Pioneer

Once former Pioneer units at Hull Trains having since moved over for MML Operations
222103 Pauses at Kettering with a service bound for Nottingham. But of course with
the arrival of the aurora fleet overtime, soon eventually 222103 will leave service
completely.

#3 Oxford Flyer

Chilterns 68010 'Oxford Flyer' is pictured within Platform 3 at London Marylebone ready
to work the evening Sunday diagram to Stourbridge Junction. Last time i believe a
Chiltern set worked to Oxford was just before the December 2022 timetable change
before ceasing 68 operations to Oxford and focusing on the runs to Birmingham.

#4 Double Win

DCR 56301 paired with 56103 behind it are pictured at Peterborough operating the weekend Saturday run between Middleton towers and Ravenhead sidings, as far as Chaddesdon Sidings, where it would swap a 60 for onward movement.

This did arrive on time, however the driver as pictured got out and one did not turn up for 40 minutes, meaning a very late departure for this working going forward.

#5 Back to Base

GBRF 57306 'Branch Line Society' passes through Wellingborough, heading light loco from Wembley to Leicester.

In previous days it went down to Long Marston with 57303 in tow to drag a 701 (Whereby 303 got left Behind at Worcester). This was a loco I had required for all time, and was the last GB 57 to complete for all time sight and photograph.

Ex-Avanti 221105 is pictured in Derby Litchurch Lane, stored and unknown what will happen to this and 5 other units that are currently stored.

But I suppose they may find a new home eventually...

The Christmas Tree of parts at Chiltern Railways is none other than 165003, having been out action since February 2024, now over two years with
no return in sight.

Just recently it appears this has been moved to within the depot. Perhaps something is happening?

#8 Driving Van Trailer

Chiltern Railways DVT 82303 is pictured at Wembley LMD stored at the southern end of the depot. Alongside damaged Mk3 SO 12627 and also DVT 82302 which was behind that. DVT 82303 went out of service just before 2022 and subsequently became a parts donor. This left the depot on 19th March attached with Set AL04 to Burton Nemesis Depot until its future is decided.

#9 2 car

XC 170112 is pictured arriving into Tamworth working a service between Nottingham and Birmingham New Street and is one of few units to have undergone the refurbishment. Unfortunately its sometimes not uncommon to see 2 coaches between Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham with a couple going as far as Cardiff Central and Stansted Airport on some occasions.

#10 Yeoman Highlander

GBRF 59003 pictured with Colas logos (Whilst on hire to Colas Rail) being hauled by a colas 66 going from Eastleigh East Yard to Hinksey Sidings. Nowadays it currently sits within Eastleigh Works awaiting its fate.

#11 Before State

Freightliner 90050 is pictured at Crewe Heritage Centre in its stripped out state. This loco originally caight fire around Coventry area whilst operating 4M73 from Ipswich to Ditton and subsequently used for spare parts over the years. Given on loan to Crewe Heritage centre for a cosmetic restoration over the 2023-2024 period. Nowadays this loco is still found at Crewe Heritage Centre, still owned by freightliner and may be taken back when required.

#12 Sweet Caroline

Lorams 975025 Caroline is pictured stabled in Derby RTC.
