LT Time Clocks

Hi,

Can anyone remember the time clocks that were sited around the network, I can recall one in during the 1960's at Croydon Road/Penge Road under the railway bridge on the way towards Norwood Junction near the junction of Selby Road at the compulsory bus stop.The conductor being required to get off and having to insert the log card for the time to be printed on it.
Where else were they sited................

Chislehurst Station on the 227 in uphill direction is the only location I can remember in precise detail, but they were often in locations where otherwise a bit of the route might get skipped by the less-enthusiastic crews.

There used to be one halfway up Burntwood Lane, Wandsworth, for route 189 (Raynes Park to Clapham Common). It was in the middle of nowhere, on a road with a single infrequent route.

If you thought that was infrequent, you never came across a 189A. The yeti was rumoured to be more forthcoming than that one, although I did see a photo of one once, and I think it was genuine.

There was one at Gidea Park Station in ther 60s. I remember stamping my school timetable once when it was left unlocked.
