DB will have some version of the data LTG sent to MERITS a while ago. In short: you can't rely on that. LTG release trains around a month in advance, sometimes shorter, as currently for Vilnius to Riga. Because of the engineering works, the timetable sometimes varies per week or per day.I’ll be travelling from Klaipeda to Vilnius, late September. But DB does. & when I looked for tomorrow, Thursday 16/7, Ltg added an extra midmorning train dep 10:15 I hadn’t seen before - but DB doesn’t show it.
whatever else, do you know how the electrification project is getting on? Wasn’t it supposed to be finished by the end of Q3? as in before October?

I think LTG only sell tickets 1 month in advance for most routes. Also, on the 1st of August LTG is introducing dynamic ticket pricing for Vilnius-Klaipėda so it will make sense to book as early as possible to get a cheaper price.
As for electrification, it's pretty much done, testing is ongoing alongside tests of the new Stadler trains. Haven't heard of any specifics on how well/bad it's going but since there haven't been any public outcries or incidents related to electrification, I assume it's going ok. There were rumors that Stadlers will launch on Vilnius-Klaipėda "in Autumn" but that's about all that is known for now. There probably is a small chance that they will start running in September but I wouldn't hold my breath.
