Locomotive Services Limited provided a locomotive to move redundant HST trailers from Long Rock, Penzance and Laira at Plymouth to a scrap yard in South Wales. The locomotive allocated was 37688 GReat Rocks.
On its way to Penzance the engine called in at Reading Triangle Sidings to pick up barrier coaches.
The journey to Penzance was made in the legs, the first being Crewe to Reading, them Reading to Exeter Riverside New Yard and then on to Penzance.
