great pics,

nice pic of the portable track from woking homes with one of there engines and coaches, ive seen that loco recently and its a right mess!

Jim - when your mother went for a scan a few weeks before you were born, the doctor said you were developing normally. How wrong he was....;)

ROFL, thats really harsh, i was down the railway pretty young it sorta started from there lol

Indeed, it is sad that Depot Open Days largely do not exist anymore - though there is that DRS one soon-ish.

Heh, I think if Toton, say, had an open day, you'd get a few people trying to start up the stored 47s etc. and drive 'em off! :lol:

Thing is not everyone can get up to the DRS open day at Carlise Kingmoor.

Old Oak Common or Stewerts Lane should open thier doors to the public again.
