Loughborough Delays

Anyone know what was causing delays of up to 50 minutes on the up and down at Loughborough? The only reason I've found is that it was due to a 'problem under investigation'.

Today? There's been a security alert at Sileby and a trespasser at Kettering today on the MML.

Yeah, it was earlier today. Not heard about Kettering but it specifies the incident was around Loughborough, so could be the incident at Sileby.

A security alert at Sileby station? Wow... a really high-profile target, that. /sarcasm

Interesting, though. In seriousness, I'm assuming it may have been some sort of threat to the lines by somebody slightly strange (maybe wishing to sabotage the railway with an obstacle, or attempting to run away from the police). I have no details to hand just now, given that I haven't attempted to look any up!
