hi all. Is it just me, or have passenger comments and service performance been largely ignored in the latest raft of service alterations just announced? as a daily user I was angered to find that 1 service in particular, the 35, which has been suffering major major reliabilitty issues for a while now has appart from a cupple of morning tweeks remained unchanged despite users pelting them with e-mails all winter and I believe recieving endless moans from drivers. The points are the timetable is unsutable, with not enough time allowed for much of the run, resulting in often over 45 mins without a bus and all the problems that go with this. Also the usage of X airport skaniers aint helping, always seams to be sumfin up with them from no heating to faulty doors. To who should we now grumble? Myself and coleegs feel totally ignored! In fareness though, ful marks to them for recognising the extra demand on 26s since the sad death of firsts 129 in January. Ok, rant over, anybody else got 35 bus hel? I must say top marks to drivers who are doing there best!

I have to say I use the 35s regularly and have not had any major issues. The changes overall seem very good especially at a time when other companies are cutting back - lots of services see improvements/extensions e.g. 2s, 5s, 11s, 16s, others see more buses eg 15/15As, 21s, 26s etc.

The crap in the papers about the 11s is ridiculous - pensioners moaning that they are losing 3 buses per hour on a two-stretch section of road, which is only actually served as it was a convenient way of turning a bus around - now the service is being extended so it won't be served. However, the road had 5 buses per hour into town on other services (4s/15s/15As), and they can also walk a very short distance over a signalled pedestrian crossing in order to catch the 11s. If they can't walk that far, they will probably be on an OAP pass and as such not be in any rush!

yes with you there re the old dears moanr with the 11. Get over it, your not short of busses anyway and why you'd want to use it, when the 15 and 4, the 4 being faster anyway is beyonde me. My issue with the 35 is its not got lög enough to do much of its run and it suffers. Yes, the extra 15s, 26s etc are vital as I said since the 129 stopped the passengers it carried, which were more than first made out have been making lothians 26 overcrouding headake that bit worse and as i use it daily the increased ridership is noticeable and not all that welcome. This should go some way to rectifying this.
