Hi,
I would appreciate everyone's help.

My daughter left her beloved panda soft toy on Saturday morning on a cross country train going from Glasgow to Reading. We got off at Edinburgh and noticed she had left it. She thinks she might have left it in the bike store near the toilets.

I have contacted cross country trains and all the lost property sites I can find but no luck so far.
Can everyone keep a look out for it?!

Do you know where the train was finishing? Lost property tends to be taken off the train at the terminating station, depending on where it terminates depends on who may be best to contact

If you can provide journey times someone here will be able to tell you who is best to contact.

Thanks
It was due to terminate at Reading but as it was delayed I believe it had a very quick turn around and left for Leeds? Nothing found at Reading Still waiting to hear back from Leeds. Very difficult as lost property seems to be managed by different companies at different stations. It may not even have been noticed yet or until yesterday so it really could be anywhere!

If it was due to terminate at Reading - Speak to GWR - 03457 000 125 Option 4
If it is possible it went back to Leeds speak to Excess Baggage Company - 0330 024 0215

Also it is worth using the website MissingX - national website that will show items other people have found on the network - you can search for it, and also log that you have lost it so that if someone else finds it they can match it up - it does work (I have used it to reunite people with many many items)

try twitter - that is usually a good way of getting some help - especially with a cute child's toy ;)

Not just Twitter, Facebook as well is useful for this (especially local police forces or even the BTP) I have seen a few stories from Police forces they have reunited people with cute toys
