Does anyone know if these Lorol drivers will sign any main line routes such as to Ilford TMD or via the main line Cheshunt to Tottenham Hale for diversionary purposes?

They will still sign to Ilford along the GE so long as 315's are used, but as far as I know they won't sign the Valley at all via Tottenham. Theres no reason to really, you can't get onto the U/D Cambridge from the bay at Cheshunt without a shunt anyway. They'll no doubt sign Coppermill to South Tottenham for access to Seven Sisters that way.

Given that they're ex AGA most already do. Chingford signed all of that.

We still sign up to seven kings station, we still have many trips over to ilford in our diagrams. Essentially the only thing we will lose is north of Cheshunt to Cambridge, Hertford, and Stansted. As for cheshunt via the valley, grey area at the moment...there is nothing in the contingiency plan that says we will ever go up there again even in disruption, not to mention there is no access to Cheshunt bay platform from the valley lines anymore after cheshunt was resignalled a few years back, so it's highly unlikely.

I've been kind of wondering what'll happen in the reverse situation, i.e. what GA will do if there're problems on the WAML (such as one of their frequent broken down trains). Their tactic would often have been to cancel all services via Southbury and send the Hertford/Cambridge/Stansted services that way instead, with the Hertfords calling at Southbury/Turkey/Theobalds. I wonder if this tactic will be used in future, considering that it means ‘stealing’ London Overground's access to the track via Southbury until disruption ends?

This has happened already. As you quite rightly pointed out before Cheshunts were cancelled to make space for all the diversions. Enfields ran as normal. What basically happened was the same minus the cancelled Cheshunts so the airports and Cambridges had to follow in suit. I can't be 100% sure but it looked like they ran every other Cambridge, hertford and airport, probably because of the lack of cancelled Cheshunts to make space.

I see, thanks for the insight. I think under the old diversionary system it would have been a reduced service via Seven Sisters anyway (e.g. 2tph to Stansted?) particularly at peak times with the 4tph to Enfield as there just wasn't the room. Interesting to know that they've managed to find a solution without completely disrupting LO's operations at the same time.
