LOROL managers interview

YO!!
I Passed the second assessment day for the LOROL trainee train driver position and have been invited back for a managers interview next week! I'm over the moon, can't really believe it to be honest!
Just wanted to ask if anyone had any good advice for the managers interview and how best to prepare and approach the day?
Any advice would be much appreciated

Firstly congratulations!

Know a bit about the company:

Know what routes they operate (including the soon to be opened ELL phase II extension to Clapham Junction), what traction operates (it will impress if you know the diesel for the GOB line as well). Major on LOROL's recent performance figures and show you want to be part of a high performing company. Know the MD's name and that LOROL operates as a concession not as a franchise (the partnership with TFL is important).

Try to come across as calm but confident. If there are questions you are unsure of then clarify (this is a requirement of the job), pause for a moment to collect your thoughts. You will get asked some questions that you have been asked before (perhaps about risks and how you work under pressure, how you are at working for periods on your own, how would you cope with shifts - getting up at 3am, etc).

How will you cope with the training? Reduced salary for a year, intensive study, rigorous assessments. Demonstrate to them that you have tenacity and that you will be professional at all times and represent the company well.

To be honest you have done a lot of the hard work and you have the core ability having passed the assessments but you do need to show you have done some research about the company and the job - that speaks volumes.

You could mention that Steve Murphy has just been made Arriva's Chief Operating Officer UK Rail, and that the MD postion's is now up for grabs.

Thanks for the good advice, I've taken everything on board done some research made some notes and basically tried to think about staying as calm as I can!
I've been in my current job almost 13 years so I have not done an interview of this kind for a long, long time!
The interview is tomorrow afternoon I'll report back as soon as I hear.
