Yes I'm wondering given they said I failed on Group Bourdon. I'm not sure if that means I met the standard in the Tea occ & the 2 Lorol specific ones or not. Obviously like you I'm concerned about losing a life. I think I'm more irritated because I thought the Group Bourdon is what I did ok on! Clearly I didn't. Oh well. I shall update on here what the OPC say.
Hi what are the two lorol specific one you did?

The driver fault finding and SJT are specific to LOROL. (I think there are a few other companies that do DFFT). Obviously the GB and tea occ are national and you have to do them everywhere. But as lorol have a higher pass mark than other tocs there is a outside chance I might have passed the tests but not to their standard. Hope that makes some sense.

Just had the email. Afraid I've failed. Hey ho. Bit cheeky as the email was designed to go out now but the sender is out of the office until next week. I've asked if I can have the details of my score / who I should contact at the OPC etc.

Hope someone else had more success than me.

Ah they emailed back. Failed on Group Bourdon
Hope you don't mind me asking what was the GB test on paper or computer? Been practicing on the computer and it's suddenly just dawned on me lol.

Aside from the SJT, did you find the other two ok? Have my assessment this Friday and am bricking it

It was on paper. Yes I didn't find the tea occ too bad. The driver fault finding is a race against time. You can't get it all done but really do listen to the instructions

Hi all! I'm new to this site and firstly want to say it is simply amazing! Loads of relevant information.

I have been invited for the first stage of the assessment for Lorol and have been practicing the Group bourdon (dots) I was curious to see what the pass mark was for this test.
I have been averaging:
Target Omitted:17
Marked incorrect: None
Total cells: 1439
Completed rows:55

Please can anyone let me know if this is good enough I'm still going to practice more to improve!
Thank tou

Thanks comu2r!
I'll guess I'll slow down a bit! Hopefully it will reduce the amount of omissions

Rang the OPC. Have to wait for an assessor to ring me back to discuss feedback. Apparently they don't tell you the scores so will be interested to see what I can be told!

I think all they can tell you is whether you failed the national standard, or just failed the enhanced standard.

Hey dannyphantom

I'm using 5 sheets with a 2 min time limit imposed.
After a second day of practising I'm down to 0-1 omissions I'm getting around 1300 cells. Just wanted to know what the benchmark is for a pass
Thanks mate

I'm not sure but I don't think anyone knows the passmark. When I took mine (long story short) I was told that the way in which the test is marked is very important. It's rather unique.

Instead of going fast on the first attempts try to start with the goal of just getting it 100%. Even if that is one line, start slow and build speed rather than trying to force yourself to slow down. Part of the test is the psychological side. It is another test where you are never expected to complete but there are so many people who don't listen and blast through trying to get everything done.

My practice material was word searches.

What's the date for your girlfriend's 1st stage? Did you get shortlisted yourself?

How did it go with the OPC feedback? Encouraging or wish you'd never asked ;)

Her first stage assessment is next Tuesday afternoon and I also applied but I have not heard anything so I don't think I have been shortlisted for it on this occasion but seems like there a lot of us that not heard anything.

Anyone here was on 14.01.16 day 1 assessment heard anything?

Did they give any date indication of when the Stage 2 would take place at the OPC for people who passed on 14/1/16? I'm awaiting a revised date for the Stage 2 having previously passed Stage 1.

Anyone had any dates for Stage 2 Lorol assessments apart from 27 Jan?
