looking for trainee train jobs

can any one please give me and information im looking to get on the trains I keep checking the different sites for vacancies but they never seem to come up etc am I waste my time just seems so hard to find the trainne train drivers jobs

You need the vacancy page for every TOC you are interested in bookmarked, and check them all once per day (or at least, once every two days)

When I was trying to get on the railway, I used to find that you could go for ages without getting anything, then within a short space of time, quite a few would come up.

It also depends on your area. The Midlands, for example, rarely seem to get many external vacancies? For some reason ?

I feel rather stupid now, It did work for me, but then I've been on the railway nearly 2 years

Checking this forum is a great way to see new vacancies,also searcing on indeed for trainee train drivers brings some up aswell sometimes

Your first assessment to become a train driver will be .................. try to be self efficient by thinking for yourself.

try northern and chiltern. becoming a train driver also involves good communication and effective teamwork.
