Just wanted to make a post on here as it seems to be a great place to get in touch with people who are interested in trains. My name is Tom and I am currently working on a photography project based on specialised hobbies and interests and the people who take part in them. One of the interests I am pursuing is train spotting and I am looking for people who would be interested in having their photo taken for the project. In terms of the process, I would probably come and meet you on one of your trips, have a bit of a chit-chat, and then take some photos (some portraits + some shots of you taking part in the spotting). It would probably take about 30 mins - 1 hour at most, and I would try to be as unobtrusive as possible. And then once I get the photos developed, I can send them to you if you would want them for yourself.
