Looking for digital camera for around £100

Pretty much as the title says, but basically I'm looking for a fairly simple to use general purpose digital camera at around the £100 mark. Any suggestions appreciated

I've used a Canon SX120 for a while and the new version looks better (SX130). It is a compact but works quite a lot in the same way as an SLR type camera, easy to change the aperture and exposure but not needing to change lenses. Amazon has it for around £140 but you get £20 cash back from Canon if you order it before the 13th of Jan IIRC.

I got a Canon Powershot A1100 IS about a year ago. Probably less functionality than you want - it has a 4x optical zoom and is 12.1 Mpz.

Connects to computer via the memory card or a supplied USB cable.

It only cost me about $140 (£88) via Amazon.

I am happy with it. There is probably a more up-to-date version with more power and features for the same price now.

At that price I assume you are willing to consider second hand so can I thoroughly recommend a Canon 710IS 7 megapixels a 35-210 zoom and I got one off ebay for £70

it all depends what you want it for, if you look around you could probably get a choice of about 100 different cameras or more, all suitable for different types of photography types
