yes 2-3 weeks fuel seems to be about right at redhill in the 70/80/90s we had a turn on a sunday night redhill horsham 3 bridges 350 change over
up to selhurst from redhill the pilot would have been circulated from say horsham to 3 bridges and the 3 bridges pilot mooved saturday to redhill
from memmory it was always redhill up to sehurst then back to 3b or horsham
sometimes we would stop on the way down from selhurst to horsham to pick up the 350 at 3b as that was out taxi back from horsham to 3 bridges to pick up the say 0400 brighton to vic at 3b rather than the say 0600 horsham to vic

Going a bit off topic but what sort of speed did Wickham's or other PW vehicles do and did any do any epically long runs?

I've been on few tourist lines in the US and Australia where their equivalent of a Wickham follows a steam service to put out any lineside fires that a stray spark may have started and some of those are quite lengthy trips.

To be fair a lot of these 'speeders' have had engines replaced with more modern ones including in one case one from a quite powerful sports bike!
