I was surprised to see that this morning's 0846 Birmingham New Street to Preston is shown as a 22 coach Pendolino on Real Time Trains. I haven't come across this before but maybe it is more common than I think. Presumably one set is locked out of use; RTT shows one set in reverse formation with adjacent A coaches.

It'll be a last minute set swap. It definitely won't have run with 2xPendolinos coupled together.

No. Its an error on RTT.
