Long term rail replacement experiences

I'm wanting to hear from anyone having to use the rail replacement service between Folkestone and Dover. Good or bad experiences ? Any comments on the drivers or vehicles ?

Apart from Operation TAP I have had no problems to warrant writing a letter home about. I live in Deal and use that stretch 2-3 times a week.
