Evening All,

I went down to Folkestone on the train last Friday and took a bit of video footage during the journey. The first part, shots around Waterloo East, is now on youTube if anyone would like to have a look:

Hope it's of interest. Further episodes will be added in due course...

TTFN,

Ron.

Remember folkestone cent as a busy 4 platform station. 1960's. Think it was quite new then

I need to get an old timetable out and compare to today. Boat trains to Dover have gone, of course.

As have the boat trains to Folkestone Harbour.

In due course I shall be adding some shots taken on the return journey to YouTube. These will show the out of use platforms more clearly.

A short video of trains at Folkestone Central that I shot on my way home from my weekend in Kent:

The final shots at Waterloo East to follow in due course...
