I am visiting in January on the 16th and 18th, i want to see as many of the Chiltern and FGW turbos as possible.
My plan is on the 16th to be at Paddington or Ealing Broadway for the evening peak and leave there around 7 - 730pm to get back to Liverpool St for my train at 830pm. What is the best time to get to Paddington or Ealing Broadway to see as many of the turbos that are in service?
My plan is on the 18th to be at Marylebone for evening peak and there around 730pm to get back to Liverpool St for my train at 830pm. What is the best time to get to Marylebone to see as many of the turbos that are in service? Do the Chiltern class 172 units still form a service out of Marylebone in the evening peak and if so what service and how many of the 4 units operate the service?
Through the middle of the day how many class 172s units does it take to operate the Barking to Gospel Oak service?
Cheers in advance.
