Hello all, I've had an enquiry from a friend about submitting a delay repay claim with the following tickets.

I've never seen national rail tickets issued on LU ticket stock and none of the paper ticket types seem to match up with the numbers here. Is it the bottom 12 that I've circled?

Furthermore, I can't seem to find a concession day return fare between Blackfriars and Brackness for £20.70 on BRFares anywhere?

The ticket number is the first six digits, the next two are the "window" number and the next four are the location code for Blackfriars LU.

London Underground ticket machines are still selling NR tickets at September 2025 fares, and are likely to continue to do so until June at the earliest.

Even so, I'm not sure how they've calculated a discounted price of £20.70 given the undiscounted price for Zone 1 - Bracknell via Staines was £21 Single or £32 Day Return lasf September.

Thank you! Forwarded the details on.

Does that mean that for LU ticket machines that might be located in a National Rail station, the ticket will always be issued from the travelcard zone that the station is in?

They're issued from the relevant station. But that price doesn't match the fare from London Terminals either.

Potentially a TVM that was missed in the March Fare rise? Roughly matches a Z1 to Bracknell Day Return, given railcard rounding can vary.

A Railcard-discounted Off-Peak Day Return from London Terminals to Bracknell (route Any Permitted) was £20.70 in March 2025. It's the only match I can find on BR Fares and TfL have form where late fare table updates to LU POMs (Passenger Operated Machines) and TVMs are concerned.

Those are the Anytime Day fares. There are no via Staines Off-Peak Day fares, only Any Permitted.

Tickets pictured by the OP were issued by a POM. LU TVMs issue tickets shaped like RSP ticket stock, but with a similar pink background.
