Who is looking forward to seeing the renovated Q Stock when it's finished at the London Transport Museum in the Depot at Acton? Hopefully some railtours with it in the future.

It could be fitted with CBTC with the usual TfL trotting out of, "At no additional cost to TfL" bull...
Heritage was removed from scope some time ago though. Oldest that's likely to be fitted is the 1962TS RATs then the D78 RATs.

The D Stock RATs are already fitted with CBTC

Fitted to all S stock, and 29 battery locomotives, and 2 RATs
About to add it to tamper train

I'm aware.
Perhaps badly worded in my post.
There was plans afot to do something for Heritage stock, but it never came to fruition.
Even without CBTC it can run out towards Heathrow or up to Rayners Lane.

Slightly off topic: where is the D78 RAT stabled? Can it be seen from passing trains like the 1962 RAT at Ruislip depot?

They are usually at Neasden depot.

Usually 104 Road at the back of Neasden Depot when operational (Sandite filling road) and on the back roads most of the time.
I believe the spare double ender is also still on Neasden.
