There a 2D version for Google Maps. Nice they went 3D but seems they didn't really know the network which is clear from having the District dive down for both Victoria and Westminster stations.

I rather like this map. It's so easy to forget what the routes actually look like having been habituated to the generic Underground map.....Being on the little swines underground makes you loose all sense of direction!

Don't know about the tube lines, but as far as 3D buildings go, Bing Maps already has such a feature.
