London Underground A60/62 carriage on M25

This afternoon, an Underground A60/62 carriage was travelling south on the back of a transporter between J.15 and 14 of the M25.

Did anyone else see it as well as me?

Cars 5066/6066/6067/5067 and 5166/6166/6167/5167 had been taken to Northwood siding and split and were in the process of being loaded on to road transport, to be taken away to Rotherham for scrap, on Thursday morning at around 08:30. It was most likely one of those.

They are taken off at Northwood - although J14 (M4?) would be a funny route for it to go to Rotherham !

edit; District Dave forum mentions Eastleigh as another potential scrapping site, so it presumably went there.

The M4 is at J15 and it was already past there when I saw it.
