Just a quick summary of my trip to London today.
Parked at three bridges and got the first train after 9 to St Pancras international low level,
Passed 66771 at Purley stone terminal on the way
Arrives into st Pancras, then went to get the tube to Moorgate.
Saw 717006 at Moorgate on test, before nipping over to Kings Cross.
On the wrong platform and almost bowled, I saw 91119 arrive into platform 0.
Saw it depart at 1133 to Leeds.
Then got the tube over to Royal Oak. Royal Oak wasn't as good as I was hoping for, as most of my shots were bowled by a London underground train
So following this, I return to Paddington by tube, and catch a HC class 360 to Hanwell.
I spent about an hour at Hanwell, seeing quite a few stone trains, as well as the FL blue livery 66623 on colnbrook to grain bp. Loving the retro style lighting and signage!
Plenty of 345s too which is what I was after.
Left Hanwell at about 2 ish and headed to Southall where again, I saw a few 66s on stone trains . Also saw the 5Z08 Alton to Southall WCR with a 47 and some coaches.
Following this, I left at about 3.45 for farringdon, and got the 1625ish train to three bridges where I returned home in the pouring rain, getting home about 6.20.
Highlights of the day were 91119 and 66623, 717 a added bonus however my shot was a bit tilted.
