London Meet Saturday the 10th

Started off at Birmingham New Street while i got the Virgin down to Banbury.
As we got into Banbury we got some timetables for around London and walked back down to get the ex Strtford-upon-Avon service to London Marylebone. 2x 165s

As we got into Marylebone we got the Bakerloo line into Charing X and picked up some more timetables. As we went through the ticket barriers our travel cards beeped at us. Oh boy here we go.

Got through in the end and got onto the South Eastern Service to Greenwich on a lovely Notworker. Was quiet for a SE service as well until we got to London Bridge and the 5000 came on.

Oh more fun as we got into Greenwich, we got the next DLR service into Lewisham and enjoyed the view from the front. Much of his enjoyment to pretend to drive.

Ah into Lewisham at last, walked to the main line station and walked into the cafe thingy, RIP OFF PRICES. Even the bloke infront said it was a rip off for a station. Owned by our ethnic friends.

Our Notworker came for the trip into Cannon Street. This was quite busy again until London Bridge where it was dead as a dodo.

At last back into London. Picked up even more timetables for the day and got the Circle into Victoria. As we arrived our travel cards decided to go tits up and started spitting at us. Got through again and then more timetables.

We split our money up and ordered some food from Mc ****. Now we had nowt between us apart from our tickets. Got onto a 455 into Clapham Junction. Arrived perfectly and got off and walked around for a bit till getting another 455 into Waterloo.

Got one of those massive SWT train times what was full of more phone numbers than train times. From Waterloo we got on the Bakerloo once more into Paddington.

After more fun and games with the TC we got on our 166 for Greenford. All went well, on return we got off at Ealing and got a 360 HC back to Paddington.

Back into Paddington we ran towards the 165 heading to Oxford for our return. All went well until Reading where we ended up being held for about 10 mins. Kept on going all the way to Oxford and our train was late that we missed our connection. So we got the stopper into Banbury after finding a London to Hereford sticker, the driver was a right laugh as well with us "trashing the train". Some little kids ran right up and banged on the train cab door as well while we stopped. Driver walked out thinking it was us... The memories

Into Banbury it was a race to see what was 1st, the Chiltern or the Virgin... and it was the Chiltern from London Paddington to Hereford...
